Readers debate if Kimi Antonelli will win more F1 titles than Max Verstappen

Kimi Antonelli’s first Formula One title is already sparking debate about whether he can win more championships than Max Verstappen. After celebrating at the Mexico City podium with Lewis Hamilton and Verstappen holding him aloft, Antonelli said he was “speechless” and planned to enjoy the moment with family, friends, and Mercedes. His father Marco also praised the achievement, pointing to the difficulties of his first year before arriving at the top spot. Mercedes teammates and rivals highlighted Antonelli’s pace: Lando Norris called his season an “insane job,” arguing that Antonelli made competition look too easy by defeating George Russell and outmatching the battle for Hamilton. Hamilton and Verstappen praised his bright future.
