Something is very wrong': Ex-FBI official tears into Stephen Miller-linked FBI shakeup
A former FBI official, Frank Figliuzzi, said “something is very wrong” after the bureau demoted two supervisors, following calls linked to Stephen Miller’s wife. Speaking on “The Jim Acosta Show” on Saturday, Figliuzzi addressed reports that two veteran counterterrorism supervisors at the Washington Field Office were removed after a disagreement over an investigation into alleged harassing phone calls made to Katie Miller, wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller. The FBI confirmed the demotions. Figliuzzi questioned why the matter was handled by the counterterrorism unit and criticized the field office head’s stance that responsibility lay elsewhere. He also commented on the ShinyHunters breach reported by The New York Times, suggesting multiple headquarters databases may have been hacked.
