Tech titans attend Trump-Xi dinner. Who wasnt invited

A White House state dinner hosted by President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping brought together more than 130 guests at the East Room, including top executives from the U.S. AI and technology sector. Among those invited were Elon Musk (Tesla and SpaceX), Jeff Bezos, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and OpenAI’s Sam Altman, alongside Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and Google’s Sundar Pichai. Finance and industrial leaders such as JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink also attended. One notable absence was Anthropic, the Claude AI developer, which had no representative despite its push for stronger AI safeguards. Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel was also missing, and no Chinese corporate executives were listed—Xi’s delegation consisted of senior officials as AI and advanced semiconductors remained central to talks.
