Told man to call 999 when he took picture of 'lump of metal' in conservatory - AOL

A 61-year-old man in Kemsley near Sittingbourne, Kent, called bomb disposal after using Google Lens to identify a metal object he had kept in his conservatory for around 10 years. Stanley Green found the roughly six-inch piece while metal detecting and, after suffering a heart attack, shelved it instead of investigating further. On Monday afternoon, he scanned it with Google Lens, which told him it was a German incendiary bomb and issued a critical warning not to touch it. Green’s son called police at about 1:50 p.m.; officers arrived around 30 minutes later, evacuated neighbors, and summoned the Army.
