Why isn't Jack Grealish playing? Everton star out after disciplinary breach

Everton will be without midfielder Jack Grealish for Thursday’s Carabao Cup round of 16 match against Newcastle at Hill Dickinson Stadium due to a “breach of club discipline.” The Premier League club said the 31-year-old is unavailable for selection and did not specify which rule he violated. According to The Times, Grealish was disciplined after an unauthorized absence from training. This season, he has made eight appearances for Everton and is still searching for his first goal or assist. Everton has not said when he will return, and the report notes the story will be updated.
