Why Luke Littler won't qualify for 2026 Darts Players Championship Finals

Luke Littler, despite dominating darts in 2026 with six major titles including the World Championship, Premier League and UK Open, will not qualify for the 2026 PDC Players Championship Finals. The reason is the tournament’s specific qualification route: instead of using the Main Order of Merit, qualification is based on the Players Championship (PC) Order of Merit. The top 64 from the 2026 PC OoM earn spots at Minehead in late November. Littler played only a couple of PC events, withdrew from the final two, and enters the last week about £20,000 short of the cut. He’ll only play the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Championship to finish 2026.
