Why Steelers and Penguins bag policies aren't as similar as you might think

Heading to a Pittsburgh Steelers or Pittsburgh Penguins game with a bag? It’s legal at both venues, but the rules differ. At PPG Paints Arena, bag restrictions look stricter because the building advertises a “no bags” policy. Still, small clutches, wallets and wristlets are allowed, as well as approved medical and diaper bags. Across town, Acrisure Stadium follows the NFL’s clear bag policy, allowing approved clear bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, a one-gallon clear plastic option, or a small clutch. The key issue is exact sizing: security can refuse bags that exceed dimensions, even if they seem small. Fans are advised to check the venue policy before leaving.
