xCruzo Brief
A three-year-old boy was rescued Tuesday evening after falling into a small septic access pipe at a sanitation business in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. while the child was playing in the yard; his brother witnessed it and told their mother, who called 911. Fire officials said the pipe was about 12 to 14 inches wide and the boy was roughly four to five feet deep, partially stuck in sewage and holding a rope until crews arrived. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and authorities said he appeared to have no major injuries. Officials said the rescue reflected training used by police and fire crews.
