AEW Dynamite Results (6/24/26): Final Forbidden Door Hype, Team Briscoe vs Team MJF & More
AEW Dynamite set the final stage for this weekend’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view in San Jose by building momentum around several high-stakes bouts. The main storyline featured Owen Hart Cup tournament finals: Will Ospreay defeated ELP, then faced a tense interruption when Swerve Strickland arrived. Strickland went on to beat Daniel Garcia, using a Hidden Blade to secure the win, while continuing to attack Garcia afterward. Ospreay later ran out for a save, but Strickland dropped him with a House Call. The Owen Hart Cup winner will challenge for the AEW Men’s World Championship at All In later this summer. Other Dynamite outcomes included Zack Sabre Jr. defeating Jack Perry ahead of his Forbidden Door match with Kenny Omega, and Konosuke Takeshita retaining the AEW International Championship by beating Ricochet. In the main-event segment, Mark Briscoe addressed Team Briscoe versus Team MJF and referenced his belief in earning a Sunday title-shot.
