Netherlands World Cup team visits Kansas City golf course
Netherlands World Cup team visits Kansas City golf course ahead of a crucial match, mixing sports preparation with downtime. Several Netherlands National Team players, as well as staff, stopped at Tiffany Greens Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri, before Thursday’s game against Tunisia at Arrowhead Stadium. Head Golf Professional Landon Beynon said the team manager called Monday to book two foursomes, and eight players arrived shortly afterward, quickly after landing. Beynon noted the players rented four sets of clubs, acted “down to earth,” and even bought a divot tool featuring the club’s skyline. Club member Ben Whitehair welcomed the visit, and suggested the players might do well in a four-man scramble. The club has previously hosted Travis Kelce and JuJu Smith-Schuster, among others.
