A new Bentley University–Gallup survey finds Americans’ belief in the business case for workforce diversity is rising across party lines. Seventy-one percent of respondents say it is somewhat or completely true that companies with diverse workforces are more profitable, up from 61% in 2025—an increase of 10 points. The poll also shows 75% believe diversity leads to more innovative products, compared with 64% last year, and 72% say promoting DEI is a somewhat or extremely important business priority. Independents and Republicans also increased their scores on profitability, though Republicans remain more skeptical, with 59% saying the link is untrue. The survey questioned 3,270 adults.
