The Big Ten has issued a statement clarifying a disputed end-of-game sequence in Michigan’s win over Western Michigan, when an extra second was put back on the clock after video review. The league said it determined Western Michigan’s No. 18 began his leap from an out-of-bounds position and made contact with the ball with one second remaining, so the clock stopped per NCAA rule 4-2-3-a.
