Cembra Is Also Leaving the City of Zurich

Cembra is planning to leave Zurich for Aargau, following the earlier move by Vontobel. The Swiss bank, currently based in Zurich-Altstetten, says its new headquarters will be in the Konnex building complex in the former Baden-Nord industrial district. The relocation is scheduled for autumn 2027. Cembra described the site as modern and energy-efficient, with infrastructure and building technology intended for “today’s working models,” plus central access and strong public transport links. CEO Holger Laubenthal said the company wants its work environment to remain aligned with its culture, long-term goals and employee needs, while continuing service through its five hubs and partner network.
