Free FIFA World Cup watch parties, festivals, and fan events around Atlanta

The Atlanta area is hosting an array of free FIFA World Cup watch parties and fan festivals this summer, expanding access beyond stadium gates. At Centennial Olympic Park, FIFA Fan Fest will run June 11-15, June 17-21, and June 24, 26, and 27, with additional events likely through July. General admission is free, while passes range from $45 to $65 and VIP packages from $225 to $325. Each day features a main stage for World Cup viewing, a small community soccer pitch, a playground, and a Georgia Street marketplace.

Decatur WatchFest and WatchSpot at Decatur Square showcase live music and outdoor screenings from June 11 through July 19, featuring 21 acts and 18 free concerts, with free tickets still available for The War and Treaty on June 25. The festival also hosts more than 60 screenings in Decatur Square and partners with area restaurants for World Cup viewings. The ATL Beltline Fest at Pittsburgh Yards on June 20-21 adds a vendor marketplace, live performances, soccer clinics, and kid-friendly activities, starting at 10 a.m. A collaborative event, A Celebration of Soccer & Sound, is planned at Piedmont Park on July 19 at 11 a.m. with a World Cup final screening and RSVP required.
