Freedom 250 Opening Night Is here. The question Is: who's coming?
Freedom 250’s Opening Night is scheduled to proceed tonight, even after President Donald Trump said he might cancel the event following artist departures. A June USA TODAY report described how the 16-day concert series unraveled as several performers withdrew, citing concerns about the event’s political ties. In response, Trump and Freedom 250 abandoned the original concert plan and announced a June 24 rally on the National Mall, with Trump listed as the primary speaker. For tonight’s opening ceremony, Freedom 250 confirms Lee Greenwood and Christopher Macchio will perform. The festivities begin at 7 p.m. at the Great American State Fair Main Stage on the National Mall. While Freedom 250 Opening Night tickets are free, attendees must still register in advance.
