New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart may need season-ending knee surgery after an apparent injury in the first quarter of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Dart was hurt on the team’s opening drive, was removed from the game, and did not return. Jameis Winston replaced him on the next Giants possession. Coach John Harbaugh declined to confirm later reports, saying the team would await further testing.
