Justin Bieber Joins FIFA Halftime Show Alongside Madonna, Shakira and BTS
Justin Bieber has joined the FIFA World Cup Final halftime show, expanding a lineup already set to feature Madonna, Shakira and BTS. The performance is scheduled for July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium, with additional acts including Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus made up of 4th and 5th graders from a Staten Island elementary school, alongside Coldplay. Chris Martin is curating the 11-minute segment, produced by Global Citizen and intended to support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. The fund’s stated goal is to raise $100 million to expand education and football access for children worldwide. Bieber’s appearance marks his first public performance since headlining Coachella in April, and the show will also include Kermit, Miss Piggy and other Muppets.
