Look at Fairmont City Council District 5 candidate Donna Wade

Donna Wade is running for her own term on Fairmont City Council in District 5 after the city appointed her to fill the seat following the death of elected representative Chuck Warner earlier this year. Wade, a Fairmont native and first responder, has worked as an EMT since 2006 and rose to administrative chief of the Marion County Rescue Squad, serving as an employee representative on its board. She also sits on the executive board of Court Appointed Special Advocates and is on the board of the 304 Girls Softball League. In answers to The Times West Virginian, Wade said homelessness and housing are priorities, and she favors directing TIF funding toward deteriorating infrastructure, blight, and potential housing solutions for people unsheltered.
