Look at Fairmont City Council District 8 candidate Bruce McDaniel

Bruce McDaniel, a candidate for Fairmont City Council District 8, framed his campaign around keeping the city’s wastewater upgrades on track, saying the next project needs to last “another 50 to 75 years.” A West Virginia native who moved to Fairmont in 1982, McDaniel has a career in water and wastewater systems and has worked in multiple city roles, including utility manager and city manager (from 1997 to 2007, plus an interim term in 2018-2019). He also serves as executive director of the Marion Regional Development Corp. In an interview, McDaniel cited Flock cameras and sanitation/garbage as issues residents discuss.
