NASA's next astronaut mission from Florida delayed. What happened?

NASA has delayed the Crew-13 mission, which was expected to send four astronauts from Florida to the International Space Station for the first U.S. launch since Artemis II in April. The delay was announced Aug. 29 after problems were found with the Dragon spacecraft intended to carry the crew. During standard prelaunch processing at NASA, teams detected an oxidizer leak on the propulsion system of the Dragon capsule and have been reviewing data and running additional tests to ensure readiness. NASA has not set a new launch date. The mission would have become the third U.S.-launched crew to reach space in 2026, with liftoff targeted from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral.
