Cristiano Ronaldo is still on holiday nearly a month after Portugal’s exit from the 2026 World Cup, and the Al-Nassr captain remains a notable absence from the club’s recent preparations. Al-Nassr held a training camp in Lisbon from 19 July until it ended on Tuesday, but Ronaldo did not appear, with the club granting him extra rest after the tournament. Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah reports the Al-Nassr delegation returned to Riyadh on Wednesday by private plane, after a camp lasting more than two weeks. Players will have 24 hours to recover and resume training on Friday at Dar Al-Nassr stadium, while Ronaldo’s break continues.
