Pine Needle Mountain Bike and Music Festival hits the trails on Sunday

Little Red River Park will host the 13th Pine Needle Mountain Bike and Music Festival on Sunday, with the musical act starting at 11 a.m. Organizer Mike Horn of Fresh Air Experience says the event kicks off summer and signals season readiness. The festival uses the same 6.9-kilometre loop from 2025, featuring flowy single and double tracks and two climbs that accommodate riders of all levels.

Six bands are scheduled: the Edwards brothers at 11:00, Mercy Gover at 11:45, Cupid's Heart at 12:30, Enderby at 1:30, LJ Tyson at 2:40 and Ray The Nihilist at 4:00, spanning country and hip-hop. The festival includes a game zone with cornhole and ladderball.
