Real Madrid forward Endrick admits Brazil are sorely missing Raphinha: 'I hope he is back soon'
Real Madrid forward Endrick said Brazil is feeling the absence of Barcelona winger Raphinha ahead of the World Cup Round of 16 against Norway. Brazil’s preparation suffered a setback after it was confirmed that Raphinha will not be fit in time, following a muscle injury. The Barcelona captain picked up the problem during Brazil’s second World Cup match against Haiti and has not returned to full training, continuing to work individually. Endrick, who was on loan at Olympique Lyonnais from Real Madrid this season, acknowledged the loss as a significant blow and said he hopes Raphinha is back soon, noting he is training multiple sessions daily to recover. Medical staff have opted against taking risks, and Raphinha has already missed Brazil’s group-stage win over Scotland and the Round of 32 triumph versus Japan. Both Brazil and Barcelona are monitoring his progress, with optimism tied to quarterfinal qualification.
