Wakefield Trinity completed a comeback 25-18 win over Warrington Wolves, powered largely by Isaiah Vagana’s two second-half tries. Wakefield were eight points down at half-time after Tom Johnstone scored for Trinity in reply to first-half scores from Josh Smith and Matty Ashton. But Vagana’s bursts in the five-minute span shifted the contest as Albert Hopoate levelled at 18-18 before Cameron Scott’s try, Max Jowitt’s conversion and Mason Lino’s drop-goal secured the victory. The result makes Trinity favourites for a top-four Super League finish, though they must avoid a heavy defeat against Leigh next week to secure home advantage.
