Trump endorses Rep. Mike Collins in Georgia Senate runoff
President Trump endorsed Rep. Mike Collins in Georgia's Republican Senate runoff, signaling active involvement days before Tuesday's vote that will decide who faces Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff. In a Truth Social post Sunday, Trump lauded Collins as a 'true Friend, Fighter, and WARRIOR' and offered his 'Complete and Total Endorsement' to be Georgia's next United States senator. Collins, a trucking-business owner who has represented Georgia in the House since 2023, led the runoff after winning nearly 41% of last month's primary, with Rep. Buddy Carter eliminated and Dooley polling around 30%. Dooley has framed himself as an outsider who would work with the president, while Collins has positioned himself as a steadfast Trump ally pushing the administration's agenda.
