Vote for Big Country High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 26-31, presented by City National Bank

The Abilene Reporter-News, presented by City National Bank, is accepting nominations for its Big Country High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 26-31 as the UIL playoff stretch approaches statewide. Eligible students compete in varsity sports, and each athlete can be named Athlete of the Week only once per season per sport, with limits on consecutive weekly wins and repeated representation from the same school. The poll closes at 5 p.m. Friday, with the winner announced shortly afterward; nominations are due by 7 p.m. Saturday. Candidates this week include multiple Week 10 standouts such as Tristan Beal, Trent Buffington, Clay Chapman, Wyatt Clemens, Lane Couch, and others from the Abilene area.
