World Cup game every single day: Ohio State graduate goes on journey of a lifetime
An Ohio State University graduate set a Guinness World Record after attending a World Cup match every day of the tournament, turning a personal milestone into a daily travel campaign. Casey Settleman, a content creator with Snapback Sports, has already logged a run of consecutive days at World Cup matches and is positioned as the record leader entering Monday’s Brazil–Japan game in Houston. The journey began June 11, when he attended the opening match between Mexico and South Africa in Mexico City. He then traveled across North America to see dozens of teams while posting content. His employer’s original plan was six games, but his brother Jack proposed 34 games in 39 days across 13 cities. Settleman said the schedule leaves him sleeping three to five hours on many nights and relies on strategies to stay energized.
