ACHR Stock Alert: What to Know as Archer Aviation Makes L.A. Plans Ahead of 2028 Olympics

Archer Aviation (ACHR) has signed a multi-year agreement with AEG to develop a vertiport at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles, positioning the company as the district’s exclusive air-taxi provider ahead of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The plan connects L.A. LIVE with other regional locations, while Archer has also identified SoFi Stadium, USC, Hollywood Burbank Airport, and Hawthorne Airport as potential network sites, with Hawthorne serving as its central operating hub. ACHR shares are down about 25% versus the start of the year. The company is progressing toward certification and has completed FAA Phase 3 of type certification, while work on its Midnight aircraft continues.
