Allegiant Air's Massive Expansion: 15 New Routes To Florida Revealed [Map]

Allegiant Air plans a major network push to Florida, adding 15 new routes in the coming months as it capitalizes on demand for domestic leisure travel. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will account for six of the 15 additions. At Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), Allegiant will launch new nonstop service to Boston, Providence and Trenton; Cirium data indicates Trenton runs from October through February and will use Allegiant’s Airbus A319s, A320s and Boeing 737 MAX 8-200s. St. Petersburg adds Boston, Columbia and Philadelphia, with Philadelphia starting in October, Columbia in November, and Boston–Sanford and Boston–St. Petersburg beginning Feb. 13. Fort Lauderdale routes include Boston, Kansas City, Omaha and Pittsburgh using the 737 MAX 8-200, with frequencies up to three weekly.
