Boeing and Icelease agree to convert up to three 767-300 freighters

Boeing and aircraft lessor Icelease have agreed to convert up to three Boeing 767-300 aircraft into freighters, expanding the cargo portfolio managed by Icelease’s Dublin-based sister company, IAT Leasing. The deal starts with one conversion option, with scope for two additional conversions. Boeing expects to begin conversion work on the first aircraft in the first quarter of 2027 and deliver it in the second quarter. ST Engineering will carry out the conversion at its facilities in Singapore. Boeing’s 767-300 Converted Freighter (BCF) is described as a medium widebody for regional and international cargo routes, with a listed range of 3,300 nautical miles and a 57-metric-ton payload, plus 24 pallet positions on the main deck.
