Bombardier issues statement following President Trump's social media post

Bombardier issued a statement after President Trump posted on social media, responding to the remarks in a lengthy message centered on the company’s U.S. presence. Bombardier said it is a “strong contributor” to the sector and that it creates tens of thousands of jobs across the United States. The company cited workers located in multiple states, a direct employment footprint in more than 20 states, and an American supply chain comprising about 2,800 U.S. companies across 47 states. Bombardier also highlighted over $2.5B it spends with suppliers each year and pointed to facilities in Red Oak, Texas and Los Angeles, California.
