Bystanders rescue passengers from burning jet after Texas highway crash

Bystanders rescued survivors from the burning private jet that crashed on a Texas highway. The twin-engined Cessna, flying from Los Cabos to Austin, suffered a mechanical failure and went down near Loop 20 in Laredo. Six people were on board and one fatality was confirmed. Emergency crews closed the roadway as flames rose and firefighters worked to control the fire. Rescuers used bare hands before arriving with a sledgehammer and a shovel to reach trapped passengers. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and transported survivors to local hospitals. NetJets confirmed the crash involved one of its aircraft and is cooperating with authorities.
