Dead after shooting in Walton County home, man arrested

Investigators in Walton County, Georgia, are continuing their probe into a deadly shooting that killed two women and left a man facing murder charges. Deputies responded Thursday evening to a report of people shot at a home on Gauntt Road. According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, resident Ralph Edward Mincey was taken into custody immediately. Jennifer Lynn Mincey was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she later died from her injuries, while Amanda Mincey McBrayer was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have not released further details about what led to the shooting, and the relationships between the victims and the suspect remain unknown. The three individuals shared the same last name. Mincey remains in custody on murder and multiple additional charges.
