Emirates wins Best Airline Worldwide at 2026 Business Traveller Middle East Awards

Emirates won Best Airline Worldwide at the 2026 Business Traveller Middle East Awards, adding Best First Class and Best Airport Lounge honours for its First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport. The awards, determined through nominations and votes by Business Traveller Middle East readers, recognized the airline’s performance both in the air and on the ground. Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim accepted the awards on its behalf. The airline said its retrofit programme is accelerating, with complete refurbishment under way for 219 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, while ongoing Airbus A350 deliveries expand its latest cabin products. Emirates said the refurbished A380s and new A350s now serve more than 70 destinations worldwide. It highlighted enclosed private suites, a dine-on-demand menu, and lounge benefits including à la carte dining and spa treatments.
