Florida Evangelist Kicked Off Flight for Preaching During Delay, Says Passengers Should Have 'No Choice' but to Listen to Her
An evangelist, Whitney Lynn, says she was removed from an Alaska Airlines flight for preaching to other passengers during a delay. The incident occurred before takeoff on Alaska Airlines Flight 708 from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to San Diego on Thursday, July 30, according to the airline. Alaska said the crew became increasingly concerned about her behavior, which it said affected other guests, and asked her to deplane for safety reasons. The airline also said she will not be allowed to fly on Alaska Airlines and its affiliates “for the foreseeable future.” Lynn, 40, posted videos on Instagram on July 31 describing the moment and said she later returned to the airport and met security. Orlando Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
