Game-day traffic around MetLife Stadium ranks among the worst in the NFL, according to a Betpack study analyzing gridlock within a one-kilometer radius of all 30 venues. MetLife finished sixth-most congested with a Congestion Score of 72.4 out of 100. On event days, congestion spikes 212.7% above baseline, while average speeds fall to 13.4 mph; traveling roughly six miles through surrounding traffic takes 27.7 minutes. The report notes the problem has persisted, citing a Fall 2025 ranking by Pickswise that rated MetLife second-worst for game-day traffic (30.3/100) and highlighted long peak drive times from East Rutherford. Among the worst overall after MetLife were Nissan Stadium, Soldier Field, Empower Field at Mile High, Huntington Bank Field, and Bank of America Stadium.
