Greenjets Raises $40 Million Series A To Scale Aerospace Propulsion And Drone Technologies
Greenjets raised $40 million in Series A funding to accelerate propulsion systems, aircraft platforms and launch technologies for both defense and civil aerospace. Blossom Capital led the round, with participation from the NATO Innovation Fund and the National Security Strategic Investment Fund, alongside investors including Tanglin Ventures and NSFO Family Office. The financing follows the company’s selection by the UK Ministry of Defence under the Low-Cost Air Defence Effectors (LCADE) program. Greenjets is one of three firms chosen to develop a British low-cost drone interceptor, with demonstration trials expected later in 2026. The program is delivered via the National Armaments Director Group as part of LEAP, a five-country European initiative involving the UK, Poland, France, Italy and Germany. Greenjets plans to shift more technologies from development into production, targeting delivery of thousands of systems over the next 12 months. The company says demand for low-cost defensive counter-drone systems has increased as attack drone use grows, and it is aiming to meet requirements for speed, efficiency, low noise and reduced thermal signature using coordinated development across engines, airframes and manufacturing.
