Using Cirium data for the period from September 2026 to March 2027, a new analysis highlights the U.S.’s longest nonstop ultra-long-haul routes by duration. The top service is Singapore Airlines’ nonstop flights connecting New York JFK and Newark EWR with Singapore Changi SIN, exceeding 19 hours in both directions. These routes are operated with the specially designed Airbus A350-900ULR, and Singapore Airlines is the only operator of that aircraft. The study also lists two major alternatives from the U.S.: Qantas and Air New Zealand flights to Auckland. Qantas runs daily New York–Auckland service at 18 hours and five minutes, while Air New Zealand operates multiple weekly frequencies.
