Jamco Interiors Inaugurates Pune Center of Excellence to Power the Future of Global Aircraft Cabin Interiors
Jamco Interiors Inaugurates Pune Center of Excellence to power the future of global aircraft cabin interiors, expanding its engineering footprint in India. On June 23, the company opened a brand-new Center of Excellence (COE) in Pune, Maharashtra, as part of a global expansion strategy and to anchor high-value engineering work in the region. The facility will deliver end-to-end aircraft cabin product engineering, covering concept development, system architecture, detailed design, certification support, drawing release, and configuration control, under full product ownership rather than outsourcing. Jamco says it will enable local engineers to work directly on globally certified programs. The COE supports demand for complex widebody cabin systems, where Jamco supplies about 50% of the world’s widebody lavatories (including 100% for Boeing 787 and 777) and about 40% of widebody galleys (including 100% for Boeing 787), plus 100% ICE Galleys for the Airbus A350. Backed by Bain Capital, Jamco’s Pune teams will work alongside global leadership for international deliverables.
