LAS VEGAS DIAMOND ARENA COMPLETES LAND ACQUISITIONS, ADDS PRIVATE JET TERMINAL SITE, STRENGTHENING POSITION AS PREMIER NBA EXPANSION DESTINATION
The Las Vegas Diamond Arena announced that it has completed additional land acquisitions to solidify its position as a future NBA destination. On June 29, 2026, the project said it purchased 3.03 acres to complete the arena site at the northeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Four Seasons Drive, directly across from Mandalay Bay, bringing it to control the entire development parcel. It also reported that additional properties are in escrow and will be acquired soon. Separately, Chetak Development, Inc. acquired land immediately south of Four Seasons Drive for a private jet terminal, intended to connect to the arena through an underground tunnel to support teams and VIP arrivals. The arena plan calls for a 21,212-seat, purpose-built NBA venue within a federally designated Opportunity Zone, which the release says can provide tax advantages. The project highlighted proximity to major freeways and high daily traffic.
