Man arrested for allegedly burglarizing, damaging Villa Rica church building

A man was arrested in the Atlanta area after allegedly burglarizing and damaging a Villa Rica church building, according to arrest warrants. Hayden Tucker, 28, is accused of entering the food pantry building of Gateway Baptist Church on Sunday morning at 9710 High Point Road. The warrants say he shattered two windows and damaged two bathrooms, including at least one ceiling. Investigators estimated the damage exceeded $500. Douglas County deputies responded to the call and arrested Tucker on charges of burglary, second-degree criminal damage to property, and two counts of criminal trespass.
