New photographs show a NetJets private jet severed in two after a deadly crash on Loop 20 in Laredo, Texas. Investigators spent more than a day documenting the scene before the aircraft, carrying six passengers, was removed by crane on Wednesday afternoon. The plane, en route from San José del Cabo, Mexico, to Austin, Texas, caught fire after mechanical failure on the highway, with five passengers rescued and one confirmed deceased. Joshua Baer, founder of Capital Factory in Austin, was identified as the victim. Texas officials and Cruz and Cornyn offered condolences as the community mourned the loss of Baer at age 50.
