Kenya Airways says it will offer free flight rebooking to passengers whose travel plans were disrupted by an Air Traffic Control workers’ strike. In a statement Tuesday, the national carrier said its teams are working through a backlog after the strike was called off “this morning,” but customers should expect some delays while schedules are restored. Kenya Airways expects to resume normal scheduled operations by Wednesday, 2 September 2026. Affected passengers will receive flight status notifications via SMS, WhatsApp, and email based on booking contact details, and can update them through Manage Booking. The airline also urged customers to check its website or app, and can be reached via WhatsApp or its Customer Excellence Centre.
