Ohio teen among suspects: FBI probes alleged multistate drone & sniper attack plan at UFC

A high-profile UFC event staged on the White House lawn over the weekend appears to have been the target of a multi-state attack plot involving explosive-laden drones and snipers, according to the FBI. Investigators say the plan involved multiple waves, beginning with drones carrying explosives to terrify the crowd, followed by snipers targeting attendees and then a second wave aimed at the White House. About 4,000 people were at the White House venue and roughly 100,000 watched nearby. One suspect, 19-year-old Tycen Proper, was arrested in Knox County, Ohio, and Signal chats suggesting up to 20 people could be involved were reviewed. FBI Director Kash Patel noted several arrests in a multi-state operation outside the D.C. area.
