Packers, Bears renew fight in NFC North
xCruzo Brief
Caleb Williams’ hamstring injury will keep him out at least one more game, so Chicago Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent will start when the Bears visit the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The Bears, 3-1 after a Week 4 23-12 win over the New York Jets, leaned on the ground game, with Kyle Monangai running for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries. Chicago’s focus is on boosting Bagent’s production after he went 25-of-34 for 268 yards with an interception against the Jets. Backup quarterback duties began after Williams’ late Week 2 injury and a concussion sidelined Bagent briefly. Meanwhile, Green Bay (2-2) is seeking its first consecutive wins while trying not to fall behind 0-2 in NFC North play.
