Saudi Arabia said it carried out several airstrikes targeting Houthi sites in Yemen, with the stated goal of weakening the group’s ballistic missile capability. The Saudi-led coalition previously announced that it had destroyed 136 military targets in areas controlled by the Houthis during a “large-scale operation.” Al-Masirah, a network associated with the Houthis, said the Saudi attacks hit locations in Saada governorate in northwestern Yemen. Saudi Arabia also reported that three people were killed in a Houthi attack on Thursday at Riyadh’s international airport. Houthi media later reported two people killed in Saudi strikes on Sanaa’s airport.
