United finally made it easier to see if your flight has Starlink
United Airlines has launched a “Starlink WiFi Tracker” tool designed to make it easier to confirm whether a specific flight will include Starlink service. Passengers can enter their flight number up to three days before departure to check availability, and United says the tracker is updated in real time if the carrier changes which aircraft operates the route. The tool also tracks the installation progress across United’s aircraft. As of Thursday morning, 639 aircraft—about 43% of United’s fleet—were equipped with Starlink, including all United Express regional planes and roughly a third of its narrow-bodies. Starlink is on just six of its 248 wide-body aircraft. United is installing Starlink on about 20 aircraft weekly and expects completion by end of 2027, while extending its status-match promotion.
