United Reveals Plans For New $21 Million, 2-Story Seattle Lounge
xCruzo Brief
United Airlines is moving ahead with a new two-story United Club at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), a project estimated at about US$21 million with an expected opening in late 2027. The 7,181-square-foot (670 metros cuadrados) lounge will replace the carrier’s existing facility near Gate A9 after United shifted its Seattle operation from Concourse A to Concourse B. The new club will be built in the former American Express Centurion Lounge space across from Gate B3 and will place it closer to United gates including B7A, B9, B11 and B15. The Port of Seattle approved US$15.5 million in reimbursement for construction, while United covers additional enhancements beyond replacement needs.
