Antique and classic boat show returns to Skaneateles for 48th year | Fingerlakes1.com
The Antique and Classic Boat Show returns to Skaneateles for its 48th year, showcasing nearly 80 restored vessels along Skaneateles Lake. The three-day event runs July 24-26 at Clift Park and is expected to draw about 10,000 visitors from New York, the East Coast, the Midwest, and Canada. Admission is free, and the show marks its 32nd year in Skaneateles. Highlights include Black Witch, a 25-foot 1926 Hacker Craft celebrating its 100th anniversary, as well as a rare 1959 Beeline Sapphire. The exhibit also features a detailed Scale model nearby and a commemorative poster by Michael and Elaine Jakubowski.
A parade, live music, guided village tours, youth judging, model boats, children’s activities, and a Sunday photographer’s cruise aboard Judge Ben Wiles round out the weekend's program, with a commemorative poster available for purchase and a display of a red, white and blue 1963 Marchetti Hydro at M&T Bank beginning July 1.
