Casper Man Charged With Driving UTV Drunk; Passenger On Life Support After Fall | Cowboy State Daily

A 37-year-old man from Casper, Wyoming, is facing prison time after authorities allege he drove a Polaris UTV side-by-side while intoxicated and caused a passenger to fall off a cooler in the back seat area. The incident happened Saturday evening near Alcova Reservoir, and the passenger suffered head injuries and remained on life support as of Sunday, according to an arrest affidavit. Michael Ray Watts is charged with driving under the influence with serious bodily injury. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 27. Deputies responded to about 8 p.m. at 24,000 Lakeshore Drive, found the victim bleeding, attempted CPR, and later reported regained consciousness.
